We continue a study of the book of Job. Eliphaz claimed Job must have acted wickedly and oppressively and thought that God could not see and judge his ways. But Job has followed God’s commands, as Eliphaz suggested, and still suffered this calamity. Far from dwelling in light, as Eliphaz said he would do, Job dwells in darkness. What really happens to wicked people? They take the means of livelihood from the weak and desperate, who then live without shelter and clothing, and have to hire out as laborers for the very wicked who oppressed them! The wicked act in darkness, hoping that it will hide them. Yet what brings their wickedness to an end? Death, the same as happens to everyone. So where is this automatic calamity on the wicked Eliphaz claimed? It is not real, it does not happen, reality proves Eliphaz’ nice-sounding philosophy a lie. The fifteenth video in our "Job" series. Nathan C. Johnson, Bible Teacher, fills in the books of the Bible that the founder of The Word of Truth Ministry, Mr. Otis Q. Sellers, never got to studying as part of his "TL" (tape library) audio library.
