PHILIPPINE TOURIST SPOTS | PAGURIRAN ISLAND AND LAGOON

A small island called Paguriran Island is situated in Sorsogon City's Barangay Sawanga. The island is primarily made up of a short stretch of sandy beach, some vegetation, and sharp, jagged rocks. A tiny lagoon sits in the center of the island. Paguriran Island is reachable on foot from Sawanga's main beach. The sea level is typically just knee deep during low tide, and it is only a few meters from the beach. At high tide, the water level may reach three or four feet.
From Manila, ride a plane to Legazpi City. From Legazpi City, ride a bus or van bound for Sorsogon City. From Sorsogon City grand terminal, ride a jeepney bound for Barangay Sawanga and then get off at Paguriran.
