West wants ‘to put pressure on Georgia’ by criticizing ‘foreign agent bill’ - MP

Thousands rallied in the Georgian capital Tbilisi in support of a so-called 'foreign agent bill', which has been approved by Parliament.

US senators have responded to the bill - in a letter they threatened to impose sanctions and other restrictions on Tbilisi if it becomes law. The chairman of the Georgian Parliament replied by demanding American lawmakers reveal where Washington's sponsorship to the country actually goes.
