Stubborn Baby Won't Take No For Answer

Like most people, babies don’t like hearing “no.” It’s a natural human response; we want what we want, and being told we can’t have it, even by a parent we otherwise adore, is not something anyone wants to hear. Part of growing up, hopefully, is learning how to process and regroup from different kinds of rejection, and babies, by definition, have no experience with that. The way they deal with such an obstacle: keep trying until they get the answer they want.

This baby is eager to grab that glass of water on the table. Mom is not having any of it.
