- Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Saudi Arabia, British Foreign Secretary David Cameron and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken ushered the same sentiment and urged Hamas to accept a so called generous Israeli truce proposal. According to Britain’s foreign secretary, Hamas is standing in the way of a very generous ceasefire agreement with Israel in which kidnapped hostages could be released in return for thousands of Palestinian prisoners and a 40-day truce in the Gaza Strip.

⁃ Stark new images have revealed dozens of tents sprawling through Dublin streets - with UK and Irish ministers embroiled in an escalating row over migrants travelling from the UK to Ireland. The string of makeshift accommodation seen this morning stretching around the International Protection Office and continuing along the road, has been dubbed a 'tent city' by the Irish Examiner, which reported there are roughly 1,700 homeless asylum seekers currently in Ireland. The Republic has voiced alarm that large numbers are taking advantage of the invisible border on the island to avoid being deported to Rwanda.

- Dubai has started work on a 35 billion dollar airport terminal that is set to have the world’s largest capacity upon completion. The new terminal would be five times the size of the current Dubai International Airport and handle up to 260 million passengers annually. Once completed, Al Maktoum International Airport, which opened in 2010, will be the new home of flagship carrier Emirates and feature five parallel runways and 400 aircraft gates.
