The NFL Draft was a bit dull for the first 7 picks, luckily the Atlanta Falcons were up next. With the 8th pick in their pocket, several needs at the defensive end of the ball, and having recently signed Kirk Cousins to $180 million, they took 23-year-old injury-prone quarterback Michael Penix Jr. After that it was pandemonium.
