Plants vs Zombies 2 - Zomboss - Seedium Showcase - Electrici-tea - April/May 2024

Electrici-tea - was offered between April 28, 2024 through May 4, 2024.

Electrici-tea is a member of the Fila-Mint family.
Electrici-tea costs 125 Sun. (-25 Sun on levels 4 and 7.)
Electrici-tea does 3 damage. (+2 damage on levels 4, 7 and 10. +1 additional damage on level 10.)
When eaten, Electrici-tea will release a storm cloud. This storm cloud will cast a bolt of lightning on the zombie who ate it. This bolt will eliminate the zombie - no matter how tough that zombie is.
This bolt will deal 950 damage to remaining zombies in a 3x3 area. (+50 damage per level.)
Electrici-tea's recharge is 15 seconds. (-1 second per level.)

Commentary:
This is Fila-mint's answer to Chili Bean. When eaten, defeats the zombie and then has an effect which affects other zombies. Chili Bean makes the zombie fart stalling all zombies in the lane. Electrici-tea does chain lightning which does a decent amount of damage.

Bottom Line:
While there are better options in the Bombard-Mint family of plants which have a devastating effect upon death - like Explode-o-Nut - Electrici-Tea is a viable option if Bombard-Mint plants are ineffective in Arena. Electrici-Tea works well against heavily armored zombies who eat this plant which would otherwise survive an explosion.

While this isn't going to be anyone's first pick plant, it is a solid backup and therefore worth obtaining and leveling up.

We do not get a preview of Penny's Pursuit before it is released. So what you see is what players get.

We also try to vary the strategies from week to week and showcasing different plants and strategies and ideas. Using the same strategy week after week would be boring to see.
