Air-check: Randy McDaniels, McKeesport's WIXZ 1360, March 4, 1980

This was my very first air-check, EVER. LOL This was recorded in the wee hours of the morning of March 4, 1980. It was recorded, off-the-air, so the quality is so-so. At this point in time, WIXZ was doing a country format, which they did for years. I worked there from 1979 thru 1982, if memory serves me right. This past week, I bit the bullet, and fixed my old Tascam reel to reel tape deck, just so I could record this old air-check. I had a whopping 6 months of experience under my belt at this point. Anyway, I hope you get a kick out of it. The newscast at the end? I wonder how many of those folks are still with us, that were in the news that day.
