The First of Seven Things - Genesis 4

You may recall I said in our sermon from Genesis 3 – "These first 11 chapters of Genesis encapsulate, are tied to, and speaks to most of what follows in Holy Scripture – and the history of man. These first 11 chapters lay out the created order of God – they set the stage for mankind and what is to follow in Scripture and history.

And here in chapter 4 – we will see more of this – we will see the first of seven things – seven things that recur throughout the history of man and are found repeatedly addressed in Scripture.
