U.S.-made armoured vehicles hit in Avdeyevka direction

The U.S. M88 recovery vehicle and M1150 obstacle-clearing vehicle based on the M1 Abrams tank were detected and disabled by Russian servicemen of the Tsentr Group of Forces near Berdychi. After examination of the vehicles, it became clear that the nationalists simply abandoned their equipment, which could have been evacuated for repair.

The evacuation of foreign military equipment from the front line was carried out by engineering and repair teams in two stages. First, engineer reconnaissance of the evacuation area was carried out to ensure the safety of the personnel and equipment used. The second stage involved the evacuation of armoured personnel carriers, who were later taken to the repair unit.

Repair crews will quickly replace tracked belts, some electrical wiring elements, and basic components. After which a decision will be made on the further transportation of American vehicles.
