Young Boy Thinks Diet Coke and Toast Will Explode

Every little kid wants to make something explode. It’s fun, it’s messy, and it’s cool. This boy recently learned that you can make Diet Coke explode by dropping in an everyday snack that you can find in the grocery store. The only problem is, he misheard “Mentos” to be “toast.” And so, he’s gathered his parents to conduct and document the Toast and Diet Coke experiment. The young scientist drops one piece of toast in his soda and… it doesn’t get much of a reaction. A second piece also fails to amaze. That’s when the confused boy’s parents let him in on the truth: toast doesn’t make Diet Coke explode, but Mentos do! He pops a candy in the bottle and a fountain of soda erupts!
