Why do UltraOrthodox Jews oppose the modern day state of ISRAEL ? 🇮🇱

2 Samuel 7:11/13
11 since the time that I commanded judges to be over My people Israel, and have caused you
to rest from all your enemies.
Also the Lord tells you
that He will make you a house.
12 "When your days are fulfilled and you rest with your fathers, I will set up your SEED after you, who will come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom.
13 He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of His kingdom forever.

Traditionally the redemption of Israel was always contingent on the return of the messiah.

Scripture does not support redeeming Israel without first receiving one’s messiah.

This new train of thought that Israel could redeem itself before the messiah’s return was a new teaching that was introduced in the 1800’s , driven by Zionism.

However the ultra-Orthodox maintain that Israel’s formation and its occupation of Palestine is an act of rebellion to God.
I have to agree.
