In this video I explore Indian Wells Canyon which is filled with many old mines. Nadeau Magnolia Mine is located in Kern County,California at an elevation of 3100 feet. The property is littered with old mining equipment which was fun to explore. The mine is a 20 acre pre 1880’s gold and tungsten mine leased in 1943 by William Siebert. The Siebert family’s mining camp had rumors that this was a hideout for the murderer Benjamin Ashley who led police on a two week manhunt. I then explore Alabama Hills and find camp for the night.
