Winner of Detroit West Riverfront design competition announced

The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy announced the winner who will work to transform Detroit's West Riverfront Park. Michael Van Valkenburg Associates was chosen as the winner, beating out three other world-renowned design firms who pitched their plans earlier this year.
