No Patriots For Ukraine As Washington Deploys Batteries To Protect US Troops | EU Pressuring Spain?

US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said Washington is working with its allies to share their air defence capabilities with Ukraine. Sullivan’s statement came after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky demanded “at least seven” Patriot batteries from Kyiv’s sponsors. Zelensky made the demand while addressing a virtual meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group on April 26. Sullivan said Washigton’s Patriot systems are “being deployed around the world.” The justification from Sullivan also came as the US announced a new $6 billion weapons package for Ukraine.
