Mini Crossword is what it sounds like - a miniature crossword puzzle.

You get hints. You can get hints by watching advertisements or by paying real world cash.

There isn't any objectionable material that we have found. After all, this is a word game.

~~~~~ Is Mini Crossword fun to play? Is the game challenging? Is this game a grind? ~~~~~

For those who enjoy crossword puzzles, this game can give you a nice dose without the commitment of larger puzzles.

As with any word puzzle games, challenging is a relative term. It all depends on your skill level and vocabulary.

Is this a grind? Only if you need to do multiples in a short time.

~~~~~ What about in-game advertisements? How many are there? How intrusive are they? Do you get anything for enduring them? ~~~~~~

We have encountered mandatory advertisements. 😢️
Fortunately, these were skippable.
Putting the device in airplane mode stopped that.

~~~~~ What are the pros and cons of this game? ~~~~~

Pros:
Small crossword puzzles.
Levels are short.
Hint system which can eliminate letters, give a letter or solve the puzzle.

Cons:
No background music.
Limited sounds.
Can only solve the puzzle from the top down. Can not use process of elimination to solve the puzzle. Can only select letters once you have incorrectly submitted a solution.
Some of the words are not found in a standard dictionary.

While the lack of skins and music are not deal-breakers, we simply find the lack of solving the puzzle your way instead of the forced method to be a deal breaker.

We have a policy here of not using hints or power ups to clear a level. We want to show that the games and puzzles have solutions. When we need to use a hint on a puzzle game because we could not solve it - even with online dictionary assistance - we just do not think this game will be enjoyable to anyone outside of the dedicated crossword puzzle crowd.
