This comes as no surprise. Within the realm of large corporations, the workforce is often perceived as disposable, akin to Stallone's film. I often liken employees to rental cars; you receive the keys, and upon completion, you return them. Many employees are brought in through favoritism or familial connections, often contributing little during their tenure. They navigate office politics and attend fruitless meetings, adding little value. While letting go of underperforming employees is necessary, the real issue lies in retaining incompetent upper management. They may appear to benefit shareholders by cutting costs, but in truth, shareholders should be the ones holding these parasitic executives accountable for their excessive bonuses and compensations. Whoever claimed the world was fair?
