Michael Fish's NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast

Today, a weak disturbance will approach the area, but it really doesn't affect us until tonight. You'll notice clouds on the increase. Highs will only top out in the low- to mid-40s. There's a slight chance of a light rain or snow shower as tonight wears on, but for most it won't be anything substantial. Lows will be in the low-30s. Wednesday, a stronger area of low pressure will approach the area, but mainly not until the evening. We'll finally have temperatures closer to average with highs around 50, though becoming a bit cooler lakeside. Rain rolls into the area on Wednesday night as winds switch back to the E. There will be a break in the action on Thursday with highs in the upper-40s, though cooler near Lake Michigan. Rain rolls in for Friday for most of us through the day with highs in the low-40s. This could mix in with snow at times through Friday night into Saturday morning, before many of us change back over to rain through the day Saturday. Once again, on Saturday night into Sunday, we could mix back in more snow again. Either way you cut it, it's not going to be a nice weekend at all.
