Can YouTube really stop adblockers?

So, youtube has been in a fight with adblocking for a while, and not been very
successful at that. I've even done videos on it. Adblocking is a game of cat
and mouse that YouTube continually seems to lose. I don't know what twitch does
differently, but I would like to figure that out.
