The US Supreme Court has heard pointed argumentson whether a former president is immune fromcriminal prosecution over acts carried out while in office.
Donald Trump, who is facing dozens of criminalcharges across four cases, claims he - and allpresidents - should have presidential immunity.
Trump's trial on charges he tried to overturn the 2020election is on hold while the Supreme Court considershis immunity claim.
It may take several weeks to receive the Justices'decision, which will likely set a precedent for future US presidents.
