No age Ontology - The addictive tendency of self-grasping existence

The greatest of all addictions is the addiction to self-grasping existence and, based on this main addiction, arise all other infinite secondary addictions. Secondary addictions can take any form, from psychological to physical, depending on particular causes and conditions which are manifesting in one’s perception. All these secondary addictions are rooted in grasping at existence as intrinsically real and separate from its Timeless source aspect. By becoming free from the main addiction of grasping at self-identities, or at least by lessening it to any degree, all other addictions become more manageable, and eventually dissipate.
