FRANCHI I-12 Inertia Model 12GA Semi-Auto Shotgun. Bought new about 20 years ago, this 12 gauge semi-automatic shotgun is still in like-new condition, a testament to Italian manufacturer’s quality production of the Franchi I-12 Inertia model. Imported by Benelli U.S.A., the Franchi I-12 Semi-automatic 12 GA has been described as a “high-dollar looking, low-dollar semiautomatic”. Franchi has been making shotguns in Brescia, Italy, since 1868. While the I-12 Inertia models are no longer in production, Franchi still makes the inertia style semi-automatics as their Affinity Models today. The Franchi I-12 Inertia shotgun itself was intended primarily for clays and hunting waterfowl and turkey. Includes brief Sporting Clay range activity as well as detailed instructions for disassembly and reassembly.
