Heavy rains have hit Nairobi's Central Business District (CBD) and large parts of the city are flooded. Traffic has been brought to a standstill as the streets have been covered in floodwaters and there is a general panic about public safety as a result of the weather conditions. An extremely heavy downpour started around 8 am this morning.
