Making Freedom with R.J.M. Blackett

R.J.M. Blackett professor of history at Vanderbilt University and a historian of the abolitionist movement in the US. He’s written several books including Building an Antislavery Wall, A Thousand Miles for Freedom and The Captive’s Quest for Freedom. But today professor Blackett comes on the podcast to talk about his work Making Freedom: The Underground Railroad and the Politics of Slavery.
