With Madrid being announced in 2023 as a new home for Formula 1 in Spain, we may being seeing the end of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on the Formula 1 calendar for the foreseeable future. In 2023, they took out the infamous final chicane and now the lap ends with two 90-degree right handers, making the end of the lap flow much smoother than before.
