Mutton Do Pyaza is cooked with onions being used twice in this dish/recipe.
I have made it with leg of lamb pcs and it tastes amazingly delicious!

Mutton Do Pyaza Marinade Ingredients:
1.5 Kg/3.30lbs leg of lamb pcs - you can use goat meat as well
400 grams plain yogurt - whisked
2 tbsp mustard oil
2 Large or 4 medium slit green chili peppers
2 large onions - cubed
2 tbsp chopped coriander/cilantro leaves
Salt to taste

Mutton Do Pyaza Gravy Ingredients:
Whole spices:
2 bay leaves
1 cinnamon stick
1 tbsp crushed black pepper
2 tbsp cumin seeds
4 black cardamom - optional
2 star anise
6 cloves
1 small mace/javitri

Other Ingredients:
3 tbsp cooking/veg. oil
1 tbsp ginger - finely chopped
3 cloves of garlic - minced
1 large onion - finely chopped
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 to 3 tbsp coriander-cumin powder mix
1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
Salt to taste
1 tsp dry fenugreek leaves/methi - hand crushed
Water as required - about 1 to 1.5 cups
Freshly chopped coriander/cilantro leaves for garnish
