We continue a study of the book of Job. Eliphaz the Temanite claims Job must be thinking that God cannot see and judge his ways. But since Eliphaz insists that He can see, He must be judging Job correctly. Job must therefore have sinned, and this is his rightful punishment. If he would just return to God and be innocent, he could return to prosperity and wealth. Yet Job insists he wants to have God judge him, but cannot find Him to have that happen. God is hidden from him, but Eliphaz was wrong: he knows God can see and judge him. Why will He not then appear to him and declare him innocent, as Job knows himself to be? Job does not know anything about the contest between God and Satan, or that the Enemy is the cause of all his suffering and woe. The fourteenth video in our "Job" series. Nathan C. Johnson, Bible Teacher, fills in the books of the Bible that the founder of The Word of Truth Ministry, Mr. Otis Q. Sellers, never got to studying as part of his "TL" (tape library) audio library.
