Waiting for the fish

A cheeky curlew stands outside a local pub, patiently waiting for his fish and chips to be cooked. As you can hear, they make a disgusting sound.
Curlews are a group of nine species of birds of the genus Numenius, characterized by long, thin, downward-curved bills and mottled brown plumage. The English name imitates the cry of the Eurasian curlew, but it may have been influenced by the Old French corliu, "messenger", from courir, "to run".
