Cancel Culture in the Workplace | Episode 60

In this episode, Ron and Kristin discuss the origin, effects and the potentially destructive qualities of cancel culture, both in and out of the workplace. They discuss the ultra politically divided and social media driven age and the mob mentality. The basis of the episode is to address free speech protected in the First Amendment regarding ideas, which differs greatly from the cancellation of sexual predators such as Harvey Weinstein, which is well-deserved.

They also discuss some historical situations where mobs and tyrannical governments ruled with an iron fist and forbade commoners to criticize the government. Ron and Kristin also provide steps to take if you are caught in the crosshairs of an angry mob. Finally, they encourage everyone to treat individuals as human beings and not to waste our lives in an angry state of mind.
