Dan Schneider: Left-wing news rating site NewsGuard ‘clearly has its thumb on the scale’

MRC Free Speech America Vice President Dan Schneider says his organization has obtained the internal data of every single media outlet rated by NewsGuard, a news rating system that favors left-leaning media outlets. “In the past, we’ve done studies on the publicly available data that showed that NewsGuard gives positive ratings to 90 plus percent of liberal outlets... Now that we’ve got our hands on the complete data, the results are pretty similar. But we’ll be producing those results soon,” says Schneider.
