Systems employed to artificially induce rain have come under scrutiny amid record-breaking rainfall and heavy flooding in the United Arab Emirates. Large Emirati cities, including Dubai, have seen rainfall levels beyond anything on record, with data going back to 1949. And amid this, many people are wondering whether the floods were impacted by anomalies from so-called cloud-seeding technologies that are used to induce precipitation.
