A large number of lawyers and judges are Freemasons

In fact, almost all lawyers used to be Freemasons.
That's a little less the case today, but especially if you're a female lawyer, you're not a Freemason. But many judges and many lawyers are Freemasons.
Furthermore, a disproportionate number of law enforcement officers in Europe and America are Freemasons. In London, you had to be a Freemason to get a job at Scotland Yard of the Metropolitan Police.
