Photography Tip Two: Eye to Eye

God made us for relationship and we connect with others through our eyes. The same is true with our photography. We connect with the subject of a photograph through the eyes, whether that's a person or wildlife. When we photograph people or animals we want to be at eye level with the subject so the viewer of the photograph looks directly into the eyes of the subject. Photographing from below, or above someone's eyes, makes it more difficult for someone to connect with the subject of the photograph. Get all my Ten tips from my website at
