Yet, another ramble. About one of my favorite CRPGs of all time next to Ultima VII: Gothic II Classic. WITHOUT Night of the Raven. Gothic II released in 2003 in NA, being pretty much the same game with some extra skills to learn, and two whole, open-ended maps to explore and lose yourself in. Gothic II is Piranha Bytes best game, with great character progression, and an immersive experience.
