Bodycam footage shows moments Henderson police rescue 8-year-old girl from apartment fire

New bodycam footage shows the heroics of some local first responders.

The Henderson Police Department released the video showing the moments officers responded to an apartment fire near Patrick Lane and Galleria Drive.

On March 10, officers responded to a report of an apartment fire at 981 Whitney Ranch Drive.

Upon arrival, officers observed the apartment's windows shattered, with smoke and flames coming from within.

Officers were then informed that a mother and daughter were trapped inside the burning apartment.

Acting swiftly and without hesitation, the courageous officers successfully rescued an 8-year-old girl and two dogs from the apartment; no one else was inside.
