The Dalton Danger (3-0) hosted the visiting Alabama Bandits (0-3) on Saturday, April 20th, 2024 in Dalton, GA, in the first meeting this season between the two teams.

Despite surrendering an early 1st quarter passing TD to go down early 6-0, the Danger would respond with 24 first half points - a rushing TD each for Yvenson Vignier and Trea Williams; a Damien Manning to Dion Sanders TD pass; and a scoop and score by DL Jaylen Moore - to take a 24-6 lead to the half.

The second half mirrored the first, to the extent that the Danger once again scored three times on offense, and once on defense. WR Robert Evans ushered in the 3rd quarter with a TD reception, and TE Kwamaime Winters snagged the 2-pt attempt, to put Dalton up 32-6.

The Bandits responded with a rushing TD and converted their 2-pt attempt to cut the Danger lead to 32-14. WR Brandan Conner caught Manning's 3rd touchdown pass of the evening, to give Dalton a commanding 38-14 lead entering the final quarter.

Danger RB Kel Reynolds punched in the team's 3rd rushing touchdown of the contest, to go up 44-14 in the 4th. In the closing minutes of the game, Danger DL Kendall Small secured a safety when he tackled a Bandits player in their own endzone, leading to the final score of 46-14.

The six offensive TDs matched the team's collective three-game total, as they implemented a new split-back look to great effect, also logging their best ground game performance of the season, improving to a perfect 4-0 record.
