Dragon Quest XI, playthrough part 48 (with commentary)

With the last of the prep work complete, the Hero and the party go to the Shadow Lord's Fortress of Fear. Flying in the sky where the World Tree use to be. The Sword of Light is able to break through the barrier of darkness that protects the fortress. The heroes are met by the last of the spectral sentinels. The Spectral Sentinel that Erik encountered after he awoke after the events at the World Tree. The Spectral Sentinel is determined to stop the heroes to keep them from fighting the Shadow Lord.
