With opening remarks by Chairman Jim Walsh, GOP gubernatorial candidate Semi Bird was eager to settle the rest of the convention in and lay out his entire case for life in Washington State from recent controversy over financial disclosures (his opposition Dave Reichert has hit him over as) well to his seasoned life as a veteran member of Armed Forces where he served with distinction heralded from valor earned from the field including various medals and badges.

He performs his speech with maximum applause from the delegate/alternates by the thousands as well as giving full marks to those who attended as family and also friends to the convention and throughout his campaign trial leading up to the convention space.

He also addresses the recent attempt from the day before to disqualify him in light of the disclosure laws that many felt were flimsy in the following speeches by delegates being coy with their own "violations" from high-school and younger years. There was satisfaction expressed at preserving for the effort at an endorsement by both he and those the loudly shouted down the attempt at otherwise.

Despite this talks even when the state GOP still have lead to them holding off on any endorsement of a preferred governor candidate for WA even after his opposition withdrew from Party recommendations from any conference vote. Dave Reichert and Bird will have their runs tested and ultimately decided later on in the year when voting concludes around August for the state GOP's official candidate for the WA governor race.

This was recorded at the Spokane Convention Space at 10 am in the morning.
