PICKING A NEW JUDGE

When Judge Amy debated Sue Ann Armitage for the open Circuit Court Judgeship to which she was anointed by the lame duck Gov. Larry Hogan, she didn't count on the bad omen of John Weiner, son of Judge Joe Weiner, appearing in the audience. Gov. Marvin Mandel appointed Joe Weiner to the bench and this was the last time an appointed judge was replaced in the next election in 1972. Will this be an albatross for Judge Amy?
