In a scathing speech on Saturday, the leader of Yemen's Houthi Ansar Allah movement, Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, leveled severe accusations against the Saudi regime. He affirmed that the Al Saud has propagated curricula that "tames an entire generation for the Israeli enemy, making them view the enemy as a friend, and promoting the idea that the correct stance is to have a relationship, partnership and cooperation with it." Al-Houthi claimed one Saudi leader went so far as to refer to Israel as "the future ally," which he condemned as "an injustice to generations" being indoctrinated through educational materials that portray the Israeli adversary favorably, despite its actions in Gaza. The Houthi leader's inflammatory remarks highlight the deep hostilities and conflicting narratives surrounding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the region.
