Plant of the Week - Sea-shroom - was offered between April 20, 2024 through April 27, 2024.

Sea-shroom is a member of the Ail-Mint family.
Sea-shroom costs 0 Sun.
Sea-shroom does 20 damage.
Sea-shroom can only be planted on water tiles.
Sea-shroom lasts 60 seconds. The timer will be reset upon giving her plant food.
When Sea-shroom is given plant food, ALL Sea-shrooms get the plant food effect.
If Low tide occurs and Sea-shroom finds herself on dry land, she will be instantly defeated.

Commentary:
This is basically the water-equivalent of Puff-shroom. With the puddle effect now being introduced into the game, plants from Big Wave Beach now have a chance to be played more.

Bottom Line:
It's tough to criticize a plant which costs 0 Sun. That said, realize what this plant is - an early plant meant to eliminate a zombie or two before expiring. By then, the player should have gathered enough resources to mount a more permanent defense.
