The rule for symbolizing Scripture interprets scripture if you cannot find similar or same usage elsewhere in the text then I do not have warrant to symbolize it.
If the writers of the bible use a word or phrase a certain way in a certain context,
then I do not have the right to import a different meaning to that usage, unless necessitated by the context

Revelation 1:20

MacArthur states

The New Testament nowhere teaches that Angels are involved in the leadership of the church.
Therefore Angeloi is better rendered messengers as in Luke 7:24, 9:52, and James 2:25

Some suggest that these messengers were the representatives from each of the seven churches which came to visit John on Patmos and take the book of Revelation back with them.
But since Christ is said to hold them in his right hand they were more likely leading elders and pastors.

Jeff Durbin on Angelos in Mathew 24:31

31 And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds,
from one end of heaven to the other.

Durbin states..

If we have a presupposition that this is about the end of the world, and the final resurrection then we will see angels coming down out of heaven to gather God's elect.
But who are those messengers? God's People. Going to preach the gospel and bring together Hid chosen ones. (from his sermon Coming On the Clouds)

Hades- Realm of the dead who would be raised upon Revelations completion

Death- spiritual death separating men from God.

1 Corinthians 15:54-57

But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality,
then will come about the saying that is written,
“Death is swallowed up in victory.
O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law;

Revelation 20:12-14

Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

Believers Who Have Died
