The Aftermath of (Cyclone) Gabrielle

We've been cut off from the nearest city for 3 months after Cyclone Gabrielle, and the roads have just reopened.
This is our first trip back into town and I'm making this as a follow up to my clip 'Dancing around Gabrielle.'

Bridges ripped in half, car sized boulders casually strewn about, slash, silt and debris piled up everywhere... it's still a mess but hats off to the roading crews who have worked tirelessly to reinstate access for us all!!
While the road was closed, a 1hr trip would've taken us 13 hours! When the road reopened on a Sunday, with a 50-tonne max weight limit, being maxed out from day 2 by logging trucks (as you'll see), we decided to wait until the Friday before our first trip in...just to be on the safe side!
