Stranded hamster rescued from floodwater

Never let it be said that we don’t bring you the most important news here at RT. A man in Petropavlovsk, Kazakhstan found himself coming to the rescue of a tiny damsel in distress last week, after widespread flooding hit the area. Passing a fence, the man spotted a hamster clinging on precariously, unable to get down due to the floodwater surrounding it.
‘Poor guy. Shall I get you out of here?’ said the kind-hearted man. The hamster didn’t reply, but seemed to be cool with the idea.

After being carried to safety, the hamster caught its breath and ran off, vowing to never ignore local flood warnings again.
