Heavy rain and floods kill dozens in Pakistan

At least 69 people across Pakistan have died in the past week after heavy rainfall caused severe flooding, according to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). “A vehicle was swept away by the water,” said Abdul Rasheed Nasir, the medical superintendent of Headquarter hospital in Chaman. “The driver survived, but three women and two children were killed. One child is still missing.”
