Economic columnist denies inflation is real

Welcome back, Liberty "insurrectionists".

Great news coming out of New York City to kick off the weekend. A 4.8-magnitude earthquake hit the Big Apple on April 5. Is it a divine wake up call, a Holy shot over the bow to terrify scheming New York Attorney General / Trump extortionist Tish James? What should really terrify James is contemplating what life looks like from the inside of a prison cell.

Did you see this front page headline in The Wall Street Journal? Can't make it up. "What's Wrong With the Economy? It's You, Not the Data".

Writes haughty columnist Greg Ip, "In the Wall Street Journal's latest poll of swing states, 74% of respondents said inflation has moved in the wrong direction in the past year. ... Yes, some individuals faced higher inflation (someone who bought a house, for instance) but, for the average person, inflation went down. Yet the average person thinks it went up."

Yet, Mr. Ip, normal people know it's not their thoughts that make grocery shopping miserable. It's their vision. It's what they see. In fact, the same Journal on the same date cited U.S. Labor Department data to confirm what citizens' lived experiences are confirming: "Prices for hundreds of grocery items have increased more than 50% since 2019 as food companies raised their prices."

And over at CommitteeToUnleashProsperity.com we find a report that ,
the CRB Commodity Index, which reflects the price of more than 20 major commodities, indicates that prices have skyrocketed by 12% in just the past FOUR months.

Grim news arrived this week that a University of Kentucky student, just 20 years old, died after a brief fight against bone cancer. In the aftermath of years of COVID-19 jabs, healthy, young people continue to die rather suddenly. Week after week. Month after month. A well qualified critic of the experimental mRNA shots, Dr. Pierre Kory, analyzed more closely the trend in a Washington Times newspaper op-ed.

"Yale, Harvard and the American Cancer Society each weighed in recently on this unthinkable twist in the toll of cancer. A record two million people in the United States will suffer malignancies this year (2024), the Society said, and a larger share of the 600,000 to die, they agreed, will be younger than before" (emphasis added).

"Colorectal cancer moved as of 2021 to the leading cause (from fourth) of cancer death in men under 50, the report said, and second for women. Young adult oral and liver cancer deaths were increasing, along with deadly cervical tumors in women ages 30 through 44, reversing 'decades of decline'.”

Speaking of the dangerous jabs of 2021, the shadowy Centers for Disease Control (CDC) finally released terrifying data it has been sitting on since the outset of mass scale COVID-19 vaxxing.

The CDC now acknowledges that "780,000 reports were received shortly after the COVID-19 vaccines were rolled out, and show people experienced a wide range of post-vaccination problems, including heart inflammation, miscarriages, and seizures."

Teachers are quitting in public schools nationwide. Shortages are reported everywhere, including in North Carolina. What is going on? Democrats always blame teacher compensation levels as being too low. But a teacher survey by The Fordham Institute disputes that money is the root cause.

One theme surfaced over and again, illustrated by these two examples:
“Our school isn’t safe. The energy in the hallways feels like something is going to happen at any moment. Fights are constant with little consequence.”

“We allow behavior that would not be acceptable in any public square. Teachers are cussed out, threatened, disrespected with no consequences.”

"Lenient grading was the second most common complaint. Teachers cannot assign failing grades, administer penalties for late work, or grade students’ homework. What could the teacher have done to prevent this failure? The student bears no culpability."

Finally, the FBI continues to violate the basic rights of American citizens by relentlessly placing them under arrest owed to their presence inside the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

These were not insurrectionists, friends. These were and are patriots who understood the dire consequences of election fraud in November 2020. The FBI, empowered by the Biden regime, says it has 500 more arrests planned in the coming year.
