Frances Widdowson was fired from Mount Royal University in 2021 for expressing her own views and analysis regarding the truth about various indigenous matters. She is also a contributing author of the book "Grave Error", wherein she questions the claim that there is a mass grave of indigenous children in Kamloops, BC.
