Children's Bible Stories- Jonah and the Big Fish

Echo, a big fish, encounters Jonah, a man with fear and pride who runs away from God to preach repentance to Nineveh. He boards a ship for Tarshish, but a storm causes the crew to cast lots and throw Jonah overboard. Echo prays to the Lord his God from the fish's belly, and he is cast into the deep, compassed by the seas and weeds. He prays to the Lord, who brings him back to the holy temple. Jonah's soul faints, but he remembers the Lord and prays for salvation. The Lord spakes at the fish, and it vomits Jonah onto the dry land. Echo wonders why it took Jonah so long to repent. Jonah makes the 500-mile trip to Nineveh and leads a revival, but pouts instead of being thankful when Nineveh repents.
