Concerned Dachshunds Watch Peahen And Rooster Fight Over Food

These dogs can’t believe their eyes and honestly, neither can I. A peahen (female peacock, for those unaware) stands on the sidewalk by a parking lot. She happily pecks at a pile of breadcrumbs. Out of nowhere comes a rooster who tries to blow up the peahen’s spot, but she’s having none of it. She pecks him away and he comes right back at her. The rooster completely boxes the peahen out, taking all the crumbs for himself. The dachshunds watching from a safe distance whimper at this injustice. Here’s hoping that the peahen can find a dining partner who’s a little less… cocky.
