Police bust cyber gang accused of fraud worldwide | BBC News

Police have taken down a gang accused of using atechnology service that helped criminals usefraudulent text messages to steal from victims.

Worldwide, 37 people have been arrested and police are contacting victims.

The technology allowed scammers without technicalskills to bombard victims with messages designed totrick them into making payments online.
